Interesting. So why do some pots not work on an induction heater? Obviously aluminum conducts electricity, and does any type of steel or copper.

I just know for induction burners (like stovetop) the metal has to be at least weakly magnetic, and titanium isn’t.

Yeah, supposedly not terrible, but as I’m sure you’ve heard a billion times by now, not nearly as good as a cheap harbor freight press and some plates. Or a slug!!!!

Does the Omni heat up in an induction heater? As far as I know titanium doesn’t heat up so it would just be the cap, like the glass wand, right?

Yeah, different course-ness levels could be cool. That’s not really a ceramic thing though.

I just run a paper towel through while the whole thing is so hot you can barely hold it. Will come right off. I haven’t smoked a puck yet. Was waiting on my dynavap, and since I got it have been enjoying it with fresh flower. I’ll grind one up and give it a shot. Have several from early on...

The z-plus insert is available for like $12 in a few places. I can’t find one with the case though.

I think $25-35 might be a better price point, but maybe I’m cheap? Lol. I feel like the launchpad and silo have excellent cost to value ratios, and would like to see that continue. I’ve bought now 4 launchpads, because it’s a great product at a great price.
