I did a quick wipe with ISO and then did 3-4 full burn offs with my newest Solo.Now I know OF and CK like starting out at temp 4-5 but I often do a first hit at 2 `cause the flavor is really nice at low temps. From there I`ll move up to 3 and 4, and eventually I`ll step up to 5 to finish up...

Yup @CarolKing mentioned rocking the stem to control the Solo`s draw and I do it all the time now...helps me find the 'sweet spot' in the draw (just the right mix of air and vapor)...

Those look great...just like the ones I`m using but mine are double pointed...haven`t bought any in ages but I`ll have to check what the Dollar Store is stocking now (in terms of quality)... The Amazon ones may be the way to go next time for me...

I`ve been using round wooden toothpicks for stirring for a long time now (the stronger ones). I like that I can empty a hot bowl without worrying about melting...and the wood will not damage the glass...

I would check my local Dollar Store...probably get a pair for a buck there...

Well yeah, FC is usually lots of playful fun (great for me to pop back in and re-discover)! I started out with a very low tolerance after years of not medicating, so the screens were really just what I needed at first... My tolerance is higher now so I may have to go full bowl/no screen at some...

Like @CarolKing often says, the Solo is so versatile you can set it up just the way you like it ('cause we`re all different)... I really like rocking the stem to find the sweet spot in the draw...once you get to know the Solo it really starts to become clear (to me at least) just how great they...

I like using domed screens in my stems to cut down the size of the bowl by at least 1/3...helps the herb heat more evenly as well so I`m getting max efficiency out of about 1/16 of a gram load...
