The mouthpiece is fine with Iso? I use 99% because it cleans so well, but if a plastic is suceptable, it'll hurt it worse. As commented earlier in this thread, I wonder what Ethanol like 199 Proof Everclear would do to the white plastic temp switch. Might not be sensitive to ethanol like it is...

I've used triple bags, but the issue is that standard sandwich bags allow smell to pass through the plastic itself

In my experience (maybe because of the stuff I use) there is NO containing the smell in amything less than a specific bag (smelly bag) or glass jar. Sunglass cases leak, regular baggies, even double bagged, will let smell through. Don't take chances.

Smelly Bags work OK. Not great, but I haven't seen a bag that does work great.

I have the silver solder which I understand is for better electrical conductivity. No idea how much better, but it's what I have. Might be fine for me, as I don't plan on removing the new battery until it craps out. I thought JoeKA simply used the tight fit of the battery to hold the connections.

Hmmm. Might this simply be a lack of contact? Soldered contacts would offer better conduction? I'd be curious how JoeKA made his connections so successfully

Why / how is Ploom releasing orders while the dealers have none to ship? Is this the case? I'd be one pissed off dealer if the manufacturer undercut me. It's bad enough the manufacturer competes against their own dealers.

Dude Brian-man- Sorry if I missed this, but I take it you did not use the negative contact from the 360? The bigger one you proudly displayed in your vid.

Love the vid. Very generous of you. Wonder if those battery connections (spring and flat piece) are available without trashing an old part.

Is there a good pipe cleaner available in the world? The ones sold for crafts are awful
