I've wondered about these as well. I believe they are old-school for vaporizing old-school hash.
I doubt that they would be more efficient than modern methods like a heated banger with a carb cap for modern cleaner hash like rosin...but I've still been curious to try one.
Yeah. The simplicity of this vape is why I'm still here asking questions.
I like the idea, but yeah, the worry I get immediately is both the taste imparted from bits of plant matter stuck on the glass coming into contact with the heater.. But, maybe the level of heat just keeps the glass clean...
I wonder how hard is is or isn't to keep tiny bits of herb from sticking inside the tube near the top where they would come into contact with the heater when inserted?
Every time I change something (like a different banger, different coil, different PID, etc...) I find whatever new temp setting now works best with that setup and go with that. Doesn't matter what the number is.
That's exactly it. 1200 years isn't even a drop in the bucket of evolutionary time. We have basically the same brains as someone 1200 years ago. We're the same humans. No smarter, no dumber.
The only difference is we figured out how to document and transfer our knowledge to other future humans...
Yeah. Like @Farid said.Battery/power is where it's at.
We have desktop vapes that can punch out enough vapor ti fill a bong like a combustion hit does.
The biggest space for portables to improve into is to close the gap of vapor production between portables and desktop vaporizers. And this is a...
Still in the honeymoon stage 😍
My new Lotus has been my main daily driver for the last month, since I received it.
I've really been enjoying putting bits of this brown temple-ball aged hash that I've been getting lately in the bowl with my regular flower late in the evening because it adds a...
I'd also be worried about anything with water (like a hydrotube) sitting right on top of the unit, just in case some water blowback gets into the unit. Nothing is sealed. It's all open.

^ That was an interesting realization to have come...
