EDIT: This piece is a collaboration between RAM (Robert A. Mickelsen) and Buck. It is functional, with individual organs and anatomical skeleton beneath the networked spots. Probably $10K+ I would guess? Any ballers looking for a new piece?
The "Fritted tube w/ 18mm joint" piece under http://glassblowersdirect.com/adapters looks like a dream piece. A frit tube that can convert into a WT? Sign me up! Now if only they would consider shipping it to Canada....
Hi PhotoRider,
When you say the honeycomb cycler doesn't recycle as well as just the stemline piece do you mean you are getting splashback (it doesn't recycle the water back properly) or that it doesn't vortex properly in the funnel section but still keeps the water recycling?
Still eyeing one of those Delta Nine stemline+honeycomb recyclers, so tempting...damn you GAS! Not like I need to be spending any more money on glass, why do you have to make me feel so poor PhotoRider!
I'm a big fan of the LED as well, but I think for stealth purposes, no LED and a short-as-possible tube would be ideal, maybe even small enough to palm?
Let's see I have owned PBJ 007's, natural indigo sugarcane mix Artist denims, APC NS, Ande Whalls, and a few different Naked and Famous pairs (indigo/indigo, low tension selvage) and I'm sure a few more I'm not remember. Styleforum and Superfuture anyone?
Great to see all these Sublinauts in Vancouver! Just waiting to save up the cash for my own, maybe I'll try and catch Enrico on the end of the tour in Vancouver.
I was just looking at these recyclers, didn't realize you could pick them up at such an affordable price! I'm a big fan of stacking percs in small recycling pieces to maximize the diffusion in a small package.
Very interesting design, the mirrored stemlines at the top and bottom seem to allow you to use it either with a 14mm female or, flip it over, on your 18mm male piece. I like the versatility of it!
