Several members here use the vapcap for hash. If it’s melting hash you might need some degummed hemp fiber or organic cotton. If it doesn’t melt, I think you can just press it into a disc and pop it in the end.

Such an incredibly easy recommendation. The @DDave water wand can be used very well as a no carb no condenser glass vapcap. I have a friend who prefers this to regular vapcaps. It is amazing in a water pipe. Huge flavor hits, with such smooth vapor, and even better efficiency (for me) than...

My SJK heater does not work NEARLY as nicely as you describe. The sensor for some reason is not sensitive enough to notice the vapcap unless it is constantly moving in and out of the field, unless I hold a larger piece of metal near the opening. More than a little annoying.
