No I didn't get it :) ?
That's funny you tried those same tips..
I tried plugging one hole in the mouthpiece but for me it restricts the draw too much.
It seems a little strange to have to mod the normal looking mouthpiece on a second edition Pax to make it enjoyable to use.
I also...

Maybe you try switching screens between them and seeing if that makes a difference?
I would love some feedback about the new style dimpled screen that lays flat, but nobody is talking..
P2's protruding mouthpiece is a little short. It could have been a bit...
I agree about the pusher. It can cause the oven lid to open easier if it falls from the extra weight. I like the rolled screen much better.
Is anybody using the oven screen that lies flat with little feet holding it off the bottom of the oven instead of the bottom screen that leans against the...
Has anybody tried the 2 different type screens the pax2 is coming with?
The leaner and the one with the feet that sits flat.
Any preferences?
I have a leaner on my loner but the pax site shows the spare or replacement ones for sale that sit flat.
Also are there any other places to order...
I meant the grip gaskets not o ring.
I Liked the Solo it was just the taste from the gasket that held the mouthpiece I think.
Tried the Air for a few minutes and it didn't seem have that taste. Maybe they isolated or used different materials that didn't out gas.
I took the gasket out of the...
Thinking of getting a AA to go with my Pax1 and MFLB. Nice design, can change batteries!
But I'm pretty sensitive to any chem tastes at all from vapes.
Used to have a Solo but couldn't personally get rid of the faint plastic/rubbery taste, I think from the heated stem holding o-ring above the...
Thats very good to hear.
It's possible that he has not done a proper burn in.
The unit itself had no taste. It was just the mouthpiece slightly. That will probably go away with time.
One other thing I did like a lot though was the shape of the oven. That can have a big effect on the taste.
I...
I had a chance to try out a friends p2. He bought a new one along with an arizer air.
My opinion only.
It seemes almost a little too small compared to the classic p1.
Could definately could use a rubberized surface somewhere on the body since its so small and slippery.?
I guess with the new...
Maybe because the P1 lid would fly off when dropped or sharp blow.
I think in some way you will be breathing something else from the lid with your herb.
I also wonder of it will dent easier than the P1 tank because of the thinner walls?
That popping off oven lid and a too slick surface without a...
Hey Joe, Would you mind giving an opinion on wheather the P2 is superior to the P1 except for size?
I don't have any problems at all with the P1 except the oven lid poping off when its dropped.
I always click it off after a few hits also.
Thanks.
Interesting.
After a hit or two or three with my P1 and shutting it down and continuing to draw for a few seconds (like my other vape the mflb) the metal oven cover is not hot at all just warm when I remove it right away to check. I use it on medium.
I wonder then if the oven cover is now...
I wonder though if you turn off the P1 in between hits would you have the same flavor profile in the P1 as well as the P2?
Its just the way I always used it anyway. It seemed natural to turn it off after a hit or two also to cool the oven down.
Im sure the new algorithim in the P1 would optomize...
Hi, I did the wrist flick with the P1 and the cover came right off.
It needs a diaper :)
Im sure they did a drop test at the factory.
Mine has fallen countless times and still works perfect, except about the oven cover. Anyway I figured out how to keep it on but it's not elegant.
Thanks again.
I would like to ask the good Pax rep if it has been stoner drop tested like from lap height onto wood floor or rug?
If so does the oven cover still pop off and what about the new mouthpiece?
The mouthpiece popped off very infrequently on the 1 I guess because it had a shaft running into the body...
I think the only change that could possibly improve intrinsically the flavor is a narrower deeper oven.
Maybe like the flavor difference between a slim joint and a thick one. The thick one will have a better taste because you are drawing through more less heated material.
So the 1 has a wider...
But wouldn't you the the same effect and taste if you shut the 1 off in between hits and drawing on it for a few extra seconds to clear the vapor and cool it down? I use it like that.
