Hopefully there will be a GH2. If they are even in a position to make that happen, it implies they've lasted that long, and they could be working on getting it perfected with a much shorter time between announcement and shipping.
[[[250 miles isn't a decent range? My friend owns one, but I'm...
If GHL went out of biz due to people cancelling their preorders, all the extra batteries in the world wouldn't help you the first time you needed that lifetime warranty....
It's because, just like the GH itself, their site uses groudbreaking new technology. They had to redesign the code a few times. The test site was crashing 9% of the time, but now they've got it down to only 5%.
@skrap - I think the consensus was: very hot, short battery life = defective GH. From what I can recall, most people get a lot more battery life than you have been.
Do you think that when GHL sends out a specific unit from the line, they are paying attention to whether the shipping address belongs to a poster on FC or Reddit?
If not, then they are sending them out randomly.
There is absolutely no way to know what people who are not going to report back...
I'm on a tablet, have only ever looked at the site in a tablet, and I've been "in progress" since forever. I also have an estimated ship date of October. Some people still have September- obviously this is not a high priority for GHL.
But, you know, they are working on updating their website...
It is November, which is the month after my estimated ship month. Mine should have come already!
Man, that website redesign is going to be SWEET I'm sure, since it is taking them months to accomplish.
I though that was determined to be more of a sock puppet than an official representative?
Either way, no one is discussing a handful of posts made over two years ago...
