Sometimes USPS gets lazy and doesn't scan a package. You can try checking it on the site for the Swedish postal service, as tracking information should show up there if it has left the US.
A box from S&B arrived today. It contained a brand new, sealed Crafty and all accessories, plus an extra CU. If this one lasts another year and a half, I'll have gotten my money's worth for sure.
I got my batteries, finally. Trying out the FW4 now. I like it. The vibration feedback was a great inclusive design decision. I've never had so much info about the exact status of my vape before, as most display battery levels visually even if they may vibrate at power-up.
My FW4 is likely delivered today. Unfortunately, my batteries don't get here till Monday. And unless the delivery is late, I'll have to wait till Tuesday to go pick them up.
Oh well. I'd rather have the FW get here early than the batteries.
So about 30 hours after my Crafty was delivered, my RMA is closed with a repaired or new device on its way. I hope this means a new one, and not that it powered up the first time they tried it. I'll find out in a week or so.
Here's a long post. It'll be rambly, but maybe it'll help someone. Or at least be interesting reading, as I write and use the grasshopper.
So I've owned my Grasshopper for somewhere around 4 or 5 months now. I've used it quite a lot. A few weeks after I got it it became my daily driver, because...
Where are Canadians getting batteries for the FW4? US places don't seem to ship here. I know Amazon has them, but with the amount of fakes, and the consequences of getting one, I'd rather find a reliable seller.
Thanks
So my VAS has kicked in again, and I've decided the Firewood will be my next vape. I didn't pull the trigger fast enough on the one I saw that was available a couple days ago, so is there any way to be notified when more are ready?
Yes, I tried both resetting with the app since it still connects, as well as the 10 seconds press of power. When they get back to me, I'll be asking about the upgrade for sure.
Well, I've submitted an RMA request after about 1.5 years. I'd been using my Crafty alongside the Grasshopper recently, as there's something to be said for session vapes sometimes. I went to power on my Crafty to finish a session yesterday and it doesn't power on. The LED does something for the...
Fuck those days where all the little things go wrong.
Oh. And also, fuck being blind.
And fuck Android phones with complicated factory reset procedures.
And finally, fuck me and my cleverness with passwords.
Thank Jaybus for vaping.
Thought I'd be fine with one GH battery. Wake and bake this morning, and the battery died after a hit and a half. :( So just placed an order for 2.
On the positive side, once it's charged, I can be sure it'll get through my planned day of relaxation.
But being able to switch will be better.
I've been running my GH with the Crafty CU the past couple bowls. I love it. No need for glass and water. The only thing is I'll need to remember to buy a new CU when I sell the Crafty because I'm not giving mine up.
Other than that, the back end is now getting warm on longer draws. Not sure...
Thanks. That is the one I'm wondering about, and you answered my question. I'll just do as I have been and clip the grasshopper inside my jeans, carry a doob tube and an extra battery when out.
I'm in Canada, I bought mine through VapeFiend.co.uk. Especially with the way the GBP is dropping...
My hopper has lasted 4 bowls with 2 or 3 hits a bowl on a single charge. Always been quick to heat up, and kept up with my mediumish speed draws. I use it more like a waxpen than anything though, only turn it on for a 5 second preheat, and leave it on for about 5 or 6 seconds of my draw, then...
My hopper is here, and I have used it. Here are some observations.
The back end stayed completely cool through all 4 hits I took.
There is a quiet ticking sound when it's on. I didn't listen closely enough to isolate it, but it's there.
The vapor is definitely hotter than what I get from the...
