What did you do to fix it? I tried mine today and it's seems to be doing what yours and a couple of the other ones on here are doing. I tried it on an ego twist at 4.6 and it sizzled but no vapor. My ceramic rod has a bend in it like someone mentioned before, but it still gets warm...

Ok. I tried to fish through the pages to see what the bottom insulator issue was but after looking at it long enough I kind of figured that if the cart would fire without the insulator, the post was just too short. Thanks for the info! :tup:

Just a thought, the ceramic rod looks like it is maybe too far in the retaining sleeve. I know i have pinched mine retaining sleeve with my fingers to get the rod to not seat itself so far in the sleeve. Just a thought. I did read on here where someone broke one of the "fingers" on that sleeve...

I thought so too. I tightened it up (as tight as it should be) and then backed it off until the batteries were moving and the light on the button would flash from it connecting and then losing connection from the battery movement. I have the stock Persei batts, Efest, and AW's, and I have to...

I have never cut my coils. But I think the bottom line on the coils is you have to have enough oil in the Herc to saturate the whole coil before you get big hits. I think some guys were putting an intital .5 grams in there and calling foul because there wasn't big hits. Gotta give a little to...

No. I think what happened to mine is my Herc heated the top up too much and compromised the locktite (I think that's what it was) on the top. The threaded insert on the top followed the Herc and I'm pretty sure that disconnected one of the solder points. My top had the intermittent powering...

No. It was new from W9. When I entered my ticket for the top I got, they said they don't ship them with dual tops anymore. Mine is the chrome one. I'm not too clear on the whole situation and I don't want to start any fires. I just want to stop looking at my Herc. It has been sitting for 12 days...

I bought mine a couple months ago and it didn't come with one :bang: Thanks for the advice. Makes 100% sense. Even though I would probably camp out at the damn post office, that's a little pricey. Guess I will just roll with it and see how it turns out...
