So I was going to make a custom gasket for the Sv6 out of food grade RVT600 with a 3D printed mold... but my laptop decided to NOPE on me and throw a tantrum before I could 3D print the mold. It's in the shop as of now and hopefully I'll have it made soon. I'll keep you al posted
I hang around 520f or so. I haven't tried anything higher
Side note, I took the thermometer of from my v3 and fixed it onto the handle I built. Getting waaaaay better readouts. I heat the block to 530f now (about 750 on my PID controller) with no signs of ware on the holder plates. Love this...
My V6 had landed. I've had it for an hour and I'm already melted. Also found out that the pipes and WPAs for the Lotus butane vape are compatible with this. I'll be posting vids to reddit as soon as I get the chance.
Got in touch with Ed. He'll sell me everything but the 10mm stovetop enail and the controller. Just ordered the nail and will order the box but would like to know how to fix in the coil into the block because from the pics I've seen of the sv4 block itself I cant seem to find something
