I'm sure s&b will sort you out, they have a pretty good reputation and I have personal experience of the warranty program. I'm sure it's frustrating but failures happen, it's how they deal with it is the important thing.
1. I use a paint brush for cleaning housing.
2. Soak screens in iso that has been heated, I use a jam jar in a pan of hot water. I use an induction hob so no flame or element.
All this talk of cases I thought I'd share mine. Probably been posted in 1 of the 742 other pages. It was an ebay purchase and is air tight and holds the hopper and 2 batteries. After my 1st failure being down to dirty temp sensor (assumption) I wanted something to protect my hopper as I'm...
I'm from the uk and have travelled with a Crafty to Amsterdam, and also to Asia and Africa. Packaged in original box in my suitcase and never had any problems.
I have a new crafty with v2.53 and not had any problems connecting so far. I am on android though so may be an issue with ios. Do you have another Bluetooth phone/tablet you can test with next time it plays up?
I'm from Scotland and visiting Montana next month. Looking for someone to give me some recommendations on what to do in your beautiful state.
Many thanks
Michael
I put herb on top of pad in capsule, I cut a fine screen to fit on top of pad and the pair live like that forever. To make the space for more herb take a liquid pad and unravel it into the fine mesh it is, cut in half, roll back uo and put back in capsule with a screen cut for on top.
I agree also, I managed to revive mine multiple times with blowing/sucking, also with iso soaks up to the holes but every time it died again. Was sent a new body and has been flawless now for over a month. In fact I'd say it's better now than it ever was.
Unless your pulls are 2 minutes each then this is not normal. A battery is meant to last several minutes. I get 3-4 chambers from each battery with 3-4 draws in each chamber. My ghb2 batteries are 6 months old and a fairly fresh RMA hopper.
I will only ever use s&b screens. I bought multiple off ebay and they all end up giving me a sore throat so back to genuine ones and my problem goes away. Not willing to risk my health with unknown Chinese crap just to save a few £/$.
