It seems everyone started out at the lower end of the spectrum; around 24-28 watts, and have progressively increased their temperatures to the 32-36 watt region...
My observations are flowers only temperatures.
Alas - a twenty minute drive is all it takes from me to get from downtown up to Vape on the Lake in no rush hour - so another twenty minute drive from there to the nearest Keg doesn't change the parameters all that much unfortunately.
I am, however, giving a lot of credence to your claims that...
They need to have something like that in Toronto.
I might show up at Vape on the Lake tomorrow - let's see how things go.
The girlfriend wants to go to The Keg for dinner - it's about whether or not I'll be able to talk her out of it...
Anyone else contemplating it?
I feel that the 'ghetto' nature of the Sublimator would mean a greater likelihood for success since it essentially draws the power directly from the source with absolutely no means of converting that current prior to using it.
I'm no electrician though...
there's definitely someone on here who is successfully issuing the first iteration of the sublimator in a country with native 220.
granted, it's with the assistance of an after market adapter - but it's possible.
No offence - but if you think it isn't hitting you as hard as the Extreme Q, you haven't found your sweet spot yet.
I actually sold my Extreme-Q today after it had been sitting around unused for the entire month-ish that I've had the Sub.
Ah - that makes sense.
I honestly feel that using an 18mm to 14mm reducer makes the Sublimator experience a whole lot easier - so long as you're okay with the reducer assuming the role of the teflon going forward.
The Apollo handle is fastened in place - I'd be extremely worried and upset if I found that started to swivel! Haha.
I prefer the Atomizer's handle being just as rigid when I'm clearing a bowl - I do recall the first day or so when it was slightly loose that I felt I was playing a bit of a tug...
As far as the build up issue resulting in the handle becoming loose - my handle was loose when I first received the Sub - I made sure I tightened it once it was cold in the first 24 hours or so, and ever since I've had no problems of it coming loose again?
I just held the Atomizer and...
The former.
I just drop it in and use the aforementioned stirrer to have it sit delicately on the ridge without any air spaces at any point in the event just dropping it in has it land awkwardly.
I completely agree with you grokit; I've had the Sublimator almost a month and I have yet to clean it except the one time that I poked my glass stirrer from the Extreme Q through on account of having not remembered to put the screen back into the Atomizer prior to packing a bowl.
I figure if I...
I like that the timer version has a bypass - I was worried about having to be extra careful with my first edition Sublimator if it meant I could never get one that wasn't limited in some way in the future.
I think that there should be a two-hour setting on the timer in the future - personally...
Welcome back, jam! Missed you on here...
Happy to be back to the Sub, I imagine?
As far as portability goes - I'm waiting for something that requires a little less labour and patience to use than the UFO design - and I'm sure after the kinks of the first iterations of what has already come...
Does anyone feel that a smaller bowl gets you more medicated than a larger one with this?
And that if you were to take the same large bowl and smoke it in two smaller bowls, you'd get a lot more fucked up?
