It could be the way you are turning/holding it. I had similar problems with one of my lighters, I figured out I was holding it at too sharp of an angle
If you don't have a problem with manually controlling the heat, I'd recommend the Lotus/similar vaporizers because it is just a flame operated super MFLB in a way.
It doesn't get too much love around here, but a vape I think may fit your needs is the Vapir NO2. This vape is straight easy mode in every way. Set the temperature, heat it up, put the herb in, good to go. It works especially well for sharing with another person. Every person I introduce it to...
For maximum portability with the Lotus I got the short stem and the leather pouch so that you can easily pocket it when the cap is hot. It works in terms of portability and is pocket-able. The vapor quality is as good as everyone says it is.
As for sharing it with friends, most people I share...
I have tried the screen like that! I find that it works really good for small amounts by making the NO2 more "convection based" and avoiding contact with the brass. For use in groups however it's just too small.
I got my lotus off the mendo website with the short stem, torch, and cap pouch since i wanted maximum portibleness. It's been great so far and they ship out really quickly
If "quick big medicating clouds comes first" I would definitely consider the lotus. I don't have the highest tolerance, but this thing easily makes clouds and after one or two hits, I am already feeling it. With the butane torch it only takes about 8-10 seconds and bam clouds. I was very...
Question about Lotus technique: When I see the red circle how much longer do I want to continue heating the plate? Any one have any tips on getting higher temperature hits consistently without combustion?
I want the temperature control options of the V5s if I went with the FM. Batteries can be a little bothersome, as I've learned with the NO2, which is why I was exploring flame powered options like the Lotus in the first place. I guess the main thing I'm looking for is better vapor quality than...
Hey guys, I am planning on purchasing my second vaporizer this week and I have it down to two. I currently have a Vapir NO2 which is working fine around the house but I want a back up portable to use when I hang elsewhere. Which do you think is the better option? Stealth is not a big issue...
I apologize in advanced because i know this question has already been asked multiple times but i just thought i would double check before purchasing.
Whats the current consensus on the short vs long stem? Is it still that both work great but the short is stealthier while the longer one is...
I would advise you to do some more research around the forum on vaping in general before splurging on a big purchase. Pretty much any vape is going to get you higher with less material than combustion. Consider what is powering the unit as mentioned above ex: batteries, plug in, butane flame...
That sounds great! I was also looking at that H2O kit. Doesn't the kit its self come with some tubing? Good to hear those mini bubblers actually get the job done.
