No, the bottom metal part is the same diameter as the glass in the widest sections (the cross-like thing), and the lid just has two protruding metal sections (it’s 13mm at the widest). Now, looking at the pictures in the link you posted, it seems like mine don’t have 2 of the metal „tongues”...

I think the reaction you got stems from the fact that all of us here use the TM2 a lot and are very happy with it, we can't see the issue that is. So what that the temperature goes above, no one has the lungs to pull that long and at the end of the day it's a 100% convection device. If it roasts...

But did you use the TM2 recreationally, outside of the tests? Did it behave as it should?

The other temperature levels are lower actually, 10 is the highest

Have you tested other temperature levels? If yes, then do they also deliver more power than they should? AFAIK the difference between 9 and 10 is like 3x times as much as the difference between say 5 vs 6, so maybe it's still worth it to recalibrate.

Out of curiosity - what is your current daily driver?

I feel like with just the dosing capsules in a glass chamber the added thermal mass is so low it doesn’t really make a difference

I also can only praise the Revolve gen 2. It’s much cooler than my M7XL stem, both in terms of stem and vapor. It really is a joy to use. Shame they don’t ship where I live (Poland) so I had to go through 3rd party resellers and pay a premium.

Anyone tried combining the M7 tip with an armored cap? I know that it's possible to get OHE with just the M7 tip and a captive cap but I've got an armored cap + 5 fin Ti tip on the way and I'm wondering how does it compare
