Well when it is over 90 I run 11.8 to get the abv to where I like. I like it very dark. So yes the ambient air temp does change the voltage used. I’d vape in the house but my wife hates the smell.

My Alpha runs cold, in the winter I run it at 12.2v. This is in an unheated garage where the temp is between 20 and 30F. I do think mine is the exception not the rule though. I love mine so much that I really think about getting another. That Bamboo lost dog is so gorgeous.

The Alpha, I find the Nong/Gong holds the perfect amount for me. Unfortunately I am the wrong person to as about flavor. I just don't seem to notice a difference between them but I do not have a very refined palete. I just know it is way better than joints.

Have you thought about getting a Nong for your Alpha? I use the nong and gong and can’t tell the difference. That could just be me.

For me it’s my Alpha Dog, but now that I’m back on my feet my new B1 may telace it.

This may be why the recommended height for the straight tube or beaker was 8” to 10”.

Those do look nice. I thought that could be an issue, why they took the picture against the black back ground. I wasn't sure about the straight tube, in one of the few references to flavor water piece straight tube/beaker type were one of the few mentioned.
