Id be willing to bet it's over loaded I didn't start getting great hits until I learned to load less at a time after priming I'd load .1-.2 and no more or I'd get inconsistent results
Edit: also it looks like your coil may have moved up a bit see if you can push it down the top of the rod...
the bender is meant to be 7.4v there also is a certain voltage range that most tops will not work It sets off the low voltage protection but I'm not sure the exact range as I usually run 6.4 or higher
W9 is the only company I want to take my money just got my bender and chrome Persei v2 today and already I'm planning what to order next probably just small bits like an adjustable spring and trim ring if they still have any lol
ive been making qwet for a while now but im about to hit some uncharted territory im getting an 8th of hash and wondering whats the best way for me to go about dissolving it into everclear to filter it and get a more vape friendly product also what type of return should i get from hash?
he means to remove the heat sheild and position the rod with all of the white showing then screw the 2 halves back together slowly untill you feel any resistance then put the steel top cap and black mouthpeice on top and see if it works better
It's to compensate for minor differences in the nibbler xl production some seal better with the thicker rings some seal better with the thinner ones
Edit: also @SamuraiSam I must have gotten a very early sr74x when I ordered it said I was getting a 74 but I received the 74x chambers with a 74...
What that's talking about is the all black outer shell tho I'm not sure why since there aren't options for colored ones even the 3.7 rods are white but the spot between the tungsten bands is black to identify it as the 3.7 rod
The spare rod page here: http://www.w9tech.com/hercules-ceramic-heater/
Has a drop down menu there are 2 white rods 71/74 and 2 black rods 71/74 the sr71 and sr74 use different rods that's why there's 2 of each listed
The rod included is tuned to run at 7.4 should be about 2.4 ohm the black rod is tuned for 3.7 but I don't recall the correct ohm reading as I do not have one myself
Since I ordered a bender yesterday I've got a few questions.
Are there any instructions anywhere? Didn't see any on w9tech.com
And is it possible to load less than .5 maybe adding stainless washers or a glass bead to take up space?
Also any recommended core setting to help a new user avoid...
i ordered a hammer a while back its pretty fun to use with the herc as well but id really like a v4
Edit: anyone know how id go about getting a trim ring for the v2 i ordered?
Try adjusting it to the bottom pin only and just putting the top back in you shouldent have to remove both I just adjust it to the bottom pin put the top back in and it's good to go
Yea it wasn't easy for me either I'd poke at it for a bit then hit the top against the palm of my hand a few times to see if it would fall out it wasn't easy but it eventually worked its way out
I had a hard time getting mine out at first also but after poking it with a tiny screw driver for what seemed like ages it came out and hasn't given me any trouble since
