An observation about the Weedeater. Seems to me I'm getting different potency from different glass.
- Overall, more water should result in more THC loss from the vapor.
- BUT! I seem to get better effects from the Mobius Recurve than the Mobius Nuc, and the Recurve has far more water
- My...
I bought one of these little dealies to use with my Weedeater, just perfect for scooping and stirring: https://delta3dstudios.com/scoop-n-stir-vape-tool/
Alright. Next question, now that I've been using the WE...a LOT.....
How often are you cleaning the screen? Or, how long does it take for it to become noticeably clogged? And, how are you cleaning it?
For me, I find I want to clean the screen after about 4 or 5 full (fluffy, not tamped) bowls...
So, I run my WE at 585. After reading your post, I bumped it up to 700 just to see. Burned the shit out of my weed on the first draw. I'm a little mystified at how 700+ degrees doesn't combust for you? Maybe smaller bowls with faster draws?
Well, from my reading here, I think you're confusing existing SH owners' enthusiasm with an assessment of both heads. I think very few people extolling the virtues of the SH have actually tried the Weedeater. Has anyone here (other than NewVape, obviously) sat down with both heads and tried to...
I've been taking a suggestion from this board to grind my weed, then flip the grinder over and grind the stuff that falls back through the holes (SLX "never sticks" grinder....it sticks a little). That seems to get it sufficiently fine. I agree -- not going to take a hit then dump, regrind, and...
My Weedeater works best with a stir after each hit to ensure it all stays loose with good airflow. I'm not understanding why I would want to press it together. Do others here tamp their bowls?
"The Simple Bundle". (you really don't even need the handle)
- PIC controller
- Weedeater head/nut/diffuser
- 20 mm coil
- basic puck safety stand with one post
- Shovelhead bucket
When new-to-vaping people see your site, it does look complicated. All those things! Parts! Metal! where does it...
The adjustabowl is the one part of the product that doesn't work well for me. I only ever use the 14mm attachment. I'd vote for a solid metal, glass, or ceramic 14-mm bowl instead of this 3-part adjustable bowl. Once adjusted, it doesn't seem to fit any better or worse than other 14-mm male...
YES. I was edging into combustification at 630, 585 seems to work just as well with no combusting and far less coughing.
Two thoughts about the titanium: 1) Accidentally brushed the hot Weedeater nut with a polyester sleeve, now it has slightly burned striations on one part that I can't wash...
Having a total love affair with the Weedeater, wowzers. Currently running it about 625, might go lower. I find a light/fluffy mostly-full bowl is good for about 6 medium draws before I start combusting. Stirring between every other hit. That sound about how others are using this magical little...
Weedeater arrived today. As impressed as everyone else is here. Absolutely nailed it in terms of ease of use, ability to use existing glass, powerful effect, straightforward operation. I want every stoner in the country to have one of these! Am now curious what, if any, qualitative difference...
And yet, I find the cooling effect of just a little water so desirable that I typically use some. My favorite glass piece for flower vaping is the Mobius Nuc with the water level just higher than the perc. A gentle flutter, not a chugga chugga like most bongs. I expect the same with the Weedeater.
As I excitedly await my Weedeater next week, curious about one dynamic of flower vaping I've noticed: decreased effect with more water. With both my Solo II and the Mobius Flower Pot, I noticed meaningfully decreased effects when I used more than the smallest amount of water in the pipe. I like...
OK. Re-reautotuned the E5CC. Worked great! Set it about 650, the dish stayed nice and hot about 400-415 per the IR thermometer, just where I like it.
Next time I tried to use it, though, wouldn't go above 300 in the dish no matter the temperature on the unit. Ordered a new 16-mm coil, hope that...
Maybe you can help me out. I bought an Omron E5CC from Thick Ass Glass about 3 years ago. Have used it a bunch with my Liger. Temperature no longer staying steady. Bought a new coil some months ago, seemed to help. Then the temperature was going all wonky. Figured it was broken, stuck it in a...
