I have both Solo and Solo II. I like the faster warmup time for the Solo II, but I prefer the way the original Solo starts up with just a twin button push and hold; much faster than the Solo II. I find myself starting that countdown to the smiley face several times, probably because I have them...
Finally received my replacement EQ from Arizer. I really enjoyed using the bags again. My first EQ lasted 7 years. So if anyone out there wonders about the durability of this product, this may be a clue. I do believe a simple main board swap would have fixed it, but the replacement deal for...
After seven years my EQ bit the dust. After 2 months I finally ordered an EQ replacement. Arizer has a special price for customers with out of warranty EQs: $109.99 with power supply and remote, but no other parts I can hardly wait. Like having an old friend return.
I should order a couple of curved stems. I have two but both were dropped and broken on the ends. but I am resourceful(cheap), so I broke them off even, sanded and flamed them with a little torch and final wash. With a piece of hose to connect a glass mouth piece, it ends up close to normal...
It's 32 degrees outside. Inside it is warm, love wood heat. Plenty of wood and weed for the winter. Been staying high and working on my stamp collection. The local stamp shop is having a close-out so I am having a great time with it.
Yes, a Northern Lights edition would be nice. Besides the cool white finish and green lights, it has the bigger battery for 1 1/2 times more sessions per charge and of course the redesigned bowl for easier draws.
The weird part is I use both the Solo and Solo II and don't notice much of a...
A greenhouse is a great idea. Here in Washington, it is a necessity. More to keep the rain off and the mold at bay. I started plants out in the greenhouse last March. Nice to get a head start.
I've been lurking and not posting much lately. Yes it is harvest time. A time of plenty.
Have been enjoying my Solo and Solo II. My Extreme Q finally gave up the ghost after 7 years. The main board is toast. Don't know why Arizer won't repair it as it is probably just the main board. Cost me...
Looks like Arizer has a repair center in the states, so I won't have to ship over the border. Just waiting for the shipping address. They would not tell me (or they did not know) what the code er4 means. So I am sending it in. If it is the heating unit it is covered. If it is the circuit board...
After five or six years my EQ finally bit the dust. The unit beeps and displays er4. The temperature indicator reads 999 and then counts down to 900, then starts over at 900. The heater does not heat up. The power supply reads 19V.
I contacted Arizer and all they seem willing to do is replace...
Enjoying some nice Chemdog today from a local pot store. All out of homegrown.
Friends keep handing me pipes and I take a toke. Always wish I hadn't, tastes terrible. Gotta stop doing that...….
I find myself reaching for my vape to try and overwhelm the crappy taste with fresh terpenes from my...
I suspect I killed two Solos exactly that way. While you are right about water not generally harming electronics, electricity with water is a problem. Our computer store was flooded resulting in monitors on the floor getting water in them. Waited two weeks before applying power and they were...
Several years ago I mounted solar panels on the house. It is only a 12 volt system, but I finally got some lights going, plus a Solo connector so now I never have to worry about not being able to charge my Solos.
I used my EDs stem in my Solo II but found it was too tight. Not wanting to take...
I have both the Solo and Solo II models. There are so many improvements to the Solo II that I know that virtually all the design deficiencies have been addressed. I got to thinking: Is there anything the old model does better than the Solo II?
If you go way back the very first Solos could run...
