So I finally received my Crafty CU, and fitted it to the Alternate. For whatever reason, apparently my stock topcaps (the new one and the old one) leak all kinds of air. The Crafty topcap is completely airtight and hits are excellent. Very much worthwhile, as long as the rest of the unit holds...

I would order an extra stem or 2 when you purchase. They are very thick glass and difficult (though not impossible) to break. I've had mine for over a year and not broken one yet. I ordered several backups and have yet to need even one. Knock on wood.

My coils only glow red like that when it is turned up to full temp (I only do that as a preheat).

If you moved your screen to the top ledge, I would move it back. That is a major cause of scorching/combustion. I find the screen works best in the bottom position, not on that top rim.

I use the Supreme every single day anymore. It is my primary and my secondary.

My battery life has improved a bit, and I have seen very few of the errors causing it to not heat up. Seems like it is just getting better.

Yeah , the failure is totally hit and miss. I had a battery that failed every time one day last week, and now it works fine. No idea. I am running the same temps dry, 410-420.......massive clouds is certainly an appropriate description.

Well if it is possible it would be great to be able to get 2 in 14mm and 2 in 18mm........would really love to see this happen.....

@biohacker ....The Vapolution tubes are 1.5mm thick glass. Not sure on the inside diameter, but if the glass is 1.5 thick and 9mm outside I think we would be golden......

Pretty sure the outside diameter of the tube (bowl) needs to be 9mm. Ideal bowl depth is about 1 1/4 inches to match the stock bowl, so the pinch should be at that depth.....I will definitely be in on this @biohacker !!!

Me too. That's pretty much where I usually heat to, but rarely go back for a reheat. I usually kill the bowl in one large hit.

I ordered a crafty cooling unit earlier today when I saw this. Very well done man. I love the Alernate. Hopeful this works, at least for a while.

Just wanted to say that I really like this vape. Hits VERY hard. It has completely exceeded my expectations. I can't believe the vapor production. NO HOT SPOTS or CHARRING. Complete extraction. Tasty vapor. Lung busting hits. Low heat or high. Dead simple to use. Even a caveman could do it...
