Cool thanks! Missed that one. It honestly doesn't bother me. I mean, the cap completely covers that part anyway. I don't see any other parts fading with good care. Was just curious though, thanks again. edit: haha they show the green/shadow combo in that video, beat me to it I guess! :lol...

So on my Green Omni XL, taking the cap on and off has, over a couple of weeks, completely removed the color from the outmost 'thread' at the top of the tip. Is this normal wear for anodized pieces?

That's interesting... you're right, you can definitely see them but they are also definitely not as pronounced as on my green tip.. and the 'dip' part on yours is noticeably wider than on mine... and if I look at MY standard Omni, there are no 'wings' at all... yet it is not gen5

Awesome good to know, thanks for that. Now I know that my standard Omni has an older tip (same as the green one, just no 'wings'). I uh.. yeah it's from the shadow... I lost the TI before even getting to use it with the XL :( Have ordered replacements! I could switch the ti from my standard...

Is this new? My regular Omni does not have 'wings' on the 'tip dips' like this one does...

Correct. I was hoping to just use a green spinning mp + green xl condenser to put this together, but the only way to get a green condenser was to buy a full green Omni ti or ti xl. Unfortunate for my wallet, but it was imperative that the condenser be green! :lol:

Just in love with this... can't wait for even more colors to play with :)

This is beyond cool. I love the colours/style in general, but something about the marks across the slits gives it so much character.

Well, personally, it doesn't happen every time, but my method is different every time as I'm still in the 'playing'/figuring it out stage :D I will pay more attention and see which method results in the effect... soon, hopefully. Currently nothing to test with :(
