Cast iron, once seasoned, are very smooth and easy to clean. It also is very forgiving and the heat distribution is the best. 90% of our cooking is with cast iron pans and Dutch Ovens for years.
An elevated screen in the stems really makes Arizer portables into smooth and extremely powerful vapes. I use an aspirin size load and the hot air has a lot of surface area to draw from. The load is suspended in the stems really makes a difference.
