Damn. They made it to Australia before Michigan. The horse and buggy bringing these things must be exhausted 😂
Or perhaps customs is making sure the springs are solid 🤔
Compared to organize crime? No. I know the trendy thing to do is shit on corporations. But there are both Amazon fulfillment jobs in my town as well as driving jobs. Both are desired over a smoke shop attendant making 10-12 per hour.
A lot of my local shops are owned or in bed with organized crime. So 6 of one, half dozen of the other. At least Amazon probably pays most of their taxes. (Hopefully)
Is it safe to get spare 18650s on Amazon? I searched molicel p28 but none of these batteries give amperage or CDR specification. Safer bet to hit a vape shop?
Anyone know of a good cost effective hard case that will fit the wand and reload? I should’ve got the vaphit case from vgoodiez, but I checked out too quick like a goon.
Could always go for the hard gun carry case from harbor freight also.
Pretty sure pre order units have an adapter included with purchase. And if that’s not the case, I would assume they will be in stock when the pre order drops. It sounds like the vast majority of users are using the wand to heat. It only makes sense to have the necessary accessories available.
Pre launch hype
What’s everyone going to be scooping up on pre order day? I think I’m going to keep it basic. I’m looking at an all silver tempest and a silver reload. I was going to get another set of o rings but from the product page it looks like additional o rings are included?
I assume you find the repeated loose half bowl experience to be different from a typical full bowl if your putting the labor in of reloading multiple times.
Do you use the anvil native or in glass? From what I understand I was told that it COULD be used natively, but that it wasn’t a very enjoyable experience.
If your only use is dynavap and tempest it sounds like the wand is going to be our best bet. I’m in the same boat. Check vapo spy. They can be had for under $100.
And I don’t fully understand that. So pardon my lack of understanding but as I thought of it, induction heaters only work on metals that have magnetic conductivity. Does the flare work completely differently from your typical IH? Or am I misunderstanding that issue?
I look forward to hearing more about this in the future. I’m still on the fence regarding heaters. I’ve spoken to a couple users who did mention that a more powerful heater than the wand may be beneficial. What does the wand heat at? 80-90w?
So, unless something changes it sounds like tempest users are probably going to want to stick with the wand?
I’d love to have power options but I can’t justify the cost and bulk of the forge.
