I wired my meter to the input of the IH module. You have a lower voltage there than you would right at the battery terminals, but this way I only get a meter reading when there is voltage being supplied to the IH module.

Buy some POTV dosing caps. They fit perfectly in the wooden dosing stem.

I did hook it up to my PC, it dings like any other USB device, but the display on the tubo remains dark. I'm kind of scared to flash the sw. Right now it hits like a champ, but if it changes when I flash it, I may never get the performance back with no display.

Yeah. I tried that. Even in stealth mode, the screen comes on at times. I confirmed this with the second tubo.

If your resistance is locked at 20 ohms, that will be your issue. I'm pretty sure isshould be closer to .2.

I have removed the center pin from the Splinter and cleaned it with alcohol. The spring action in the Mod seems to be fine. I'll take an erasure to the pins, it certainly won't hurt anything. I think if it was a "connection" issue, I would lost likely get an Atomizer Not Found message rather...

Well, this didn't work. Still getting the shorted atomizer message. I guess I'l start scouring the net for a different mod. Does anyone have disassembly instructions for a splinter? I'd be willing to take the risk opening it up.

This may have worked. I unscrewed it all the way out, then back snug. I ran 2 loads through it last night and I did not get the error once. It was happening several times a load, so this is a good sign. Thank you very much!

I was able to snug it up maybe a quarter turn. But that didn't fix the issue. I also read that batteries could cause the issue. I had been using some batteries I got used with a stempod on entexchange. I changed them out with some batteries I just purchased a couple months ago. Unfortunately...
