I got the C1 about 3-4 weeks ago, as far as I know it was not the newest at the time. I was more concerned about the fact I had one that worked while charging and assumed this one wouldn't based on what rekrab said. Just used it and no longer have any complaints. Heats up fast, hits WAY harder...

Any thoughts on getting an older unit for warranty replacement? Got a M1A1 to replace my M1C1. Is that normal?

Ok so I just got my warranty replacement from Arizer for my seemingly defective M1C1 ... they sent me a M1A1 .. is that normal for them to send older units? I haven't had a chance to try it yet but i'm assuming this model doesn't work while charging?

No ELB type parts… with the Solo you load the bottom of the glass stems. You don't NEED screens (there are 4 small holes) however if you grind your stuff up well it's easy to get some in your mouth so a screen is preferred.

Their site says there was a shortage on the glass but should be re-stocked next week sometime.

For anyone who has had to send their Solo in .. how spotless do I have to get this thing? They are about an hour from me so it's not going far or across the border. But i'm thinking I should probably get a q-tip and some iso to try clear up the oven because it is slightly stained. I just don't...

The people in the shop sucked.. I did just receive a reply from the shop owner though after I emailed him directly and said he is looking into the issue with Arizer but apparently they don't reply on weekends so we won't hear back until next week. Hopefully that works out ok... No there isn't...

Interesting.. so I guess even if I did order through PV I still would have had to contact arizer. That's awful customer service IMO... basically I bought a "brand new" solo from the shop near me and now I have to pay MORE to send it out and get it working properly? How does that even remotely...
