I mailed in the Power brick and the Temperature adjuster thing. Maybe they already sent it back and it will arrive tomorrow otherwise ill try those emails.. I think enrico is the one who usually replies to support@sublimator tho maybe
edit: The cable that plugs into the temperature controller...
I sent my BROKEN power adapter in for a warranty claim (communicated with Enrico on like the 10th)..
Tracking states it arrived on the 15th.
So will my sublimator just be fucked permanently? I never got a package back with a power adapter and now it seems enrico has been arrested.. DID HE...
Hey, yeah I lost 2 adapters to that but The one I am using now has worked great for 2 or so weeks and I never heat the sublimator up separately from this adapter. So maybe a taller style is needed, because both my broken ones were low-profile adapters.
(See adapter in pic below of my setup)...
16$ shipping to Canada lol darn..
But anyways thanks for the feedback.. First one was definitely questionable quality so I wasn't too surprised when it broke, Second one was brand new but made by Gear and they are pretty crappy too I guess.
I'll try a new one.. in the meantime my Hoss adapter...
Hi, I have noticed the sublimator is breaking my low profile reducers (to let me use 14mm teflon sublimator in 18mm pipe) when it heats up. Does anyone have any suggestions/solutions to avoid this?
I thought it would make sense that it heat up separate from glass so it can expand a bit before...
Yeah I suspected that, how long is the part of metal going into the slide? Ill go get a new bong with a 90 degree slide just dont want it to hit the bottom.
Also bubbler vs bong, is more volume good for sublimator hits?
edit:
does this look suitable for sublimator...
Does my bong need a vertical stem for sublimator or can I use a 45 degree angled slide? Thanks for the replies, this is my last question before I am ready to buy..
I also emailed sublimators website and got some replies, apparently now they include both 14 and 18mm teflon in all the kits which...
Im planning on making the purchase this weekend. I am looking at the Apollo adapt-a-bong titanium version. One question I have is whether or not I would want one of the metal bases and tubes they sell? I plan to use it on my 18" Straight tube no perc bong, and would buy a more suitable one if I...
I wish I could test this somehow before buying. To anyone who has this and an LSV or SSV, how does it compare in terms of the high you get, efficiency, size of hit, etc. Is it worth getting if you already own an SSV and/or LSV or would it just be redundant having multiple tabletop vapes?
Well, I'm not sure what to tell you, obviously I will need to use the unit a bit more to get a better grasp of how this may be prevented.
One thought I have, however, is that perhaps you aren't bending your screens before putting in the bowl?
On my SSV, 7th floor instructed that I bend the...
Honestly the dark spot would've been my own fault.
I like to vape at fairly high temps with this thing, and I normally rotate through my entire hit, but I held it still and this caused one spot to be heated a bit more. It didnt burn at all whatsoever though, just got a darker brown. I normally...
Oh thanks for the tip, I will give it another try.
Haha, come try it out man :p
It actually occurred to me that I have never smoked a cigar.. can you elaborate a bit please?
I'll post a video demonstrating how I have been using this thing a bit. It's just uploading now.
This thing kicks ass by the way!
Compared to my SSV, the Flavor is much stronger and cleaner tasting without a dirty whip in the airway. It's also much more easy to clean, as I really only have...
Nice! and Yeah it sucks when herb falls on the heater haha, expect that to happen at least one more time from someone accidentally blowing into the mouthpiece while holding the wand to the heater cover.
