I love the turbo tube because you have a bigger distance between the heat source and the flower and that means you can press the sensor for longer. This also allows you to shake the flower in the tube. No stirring required with the double screen added. I'm using it right now with a water...
I came up with my own rig and modified the bowl assembly.
The screen is the same diameter used in most SSV's. Screen pops in nice and tight. The top assembly locks it in place perfectly. It also allows for a finer grind.
I'd say it helps. Because there is a set screen at the end of a glass tube, then a nice length of silicone as the bowl. I add a top screen as well. Helps to make a tasty bake. :) it doesn't require the double screen. None of them actually do.
Yes. The long stem is awesome for full flavor hits. And since the glass is longer, you can take those bigger hits. The short stems are ideal for on the go situations. And always double screen.
I received my stem and screens today. Already have a bowl packed and am very happy with the results. Taste is phenomenal and it seems to heat the herbs more evenly.
Put the bottom screen in, then the cotton with the concentrate, finally you sandwich it all with a flat or basket screen on top. I even mix a little bit of herb in there for a denser hit. :)
Yeah. It works like a champion. Just use a little piece of cotton and put your concentrate on that and then sandwich with a top screen and you're good to go.
