Ordered it. Can't wait. Counting down the days..... This machine definitely grows on you. I find I'm using it as my first choice "go to" more and more often as time and experience with it go by.
Unclear which screen you mean as there are two in there, one immediately under the mouthpiece and another right at the top of the oven. If it's the mouthpiece one then that's not so important but not sure if I'd use cotton unless you like the taste of cotton vapor. If it's the one that is held...
I feel for you cluffy.... I need a couple of new batteries but don't want them to be redundant a week after I get them because the new PA has arrived. I assume it will have an S1 - S2 (switch) option ?
I still love my DaVince after well over a year. It was the first vaporizer I ever bought and it definitely helped me quit combustion (combined with the wife's solo :>). Right now it sits one behind my new Flashvape and one before my Iolite in my lineup. I bought the extended snorkel early on...
So that's cool to not turn off the bottom button then, old habits die hard, (DaVinci main power button and user buttons). That really does add to the VAPE ON DEMAND feature (one less step, lol).
This is unlike any vaporizer I've ever used before.
We have nothing to fear except combustion itself.....
THE GOOD : This thing is a work of art. Does everything it's supposed to do. Not the thickest clouds but used as I am using it (push the button 4 - 6 seconds have a mini draw, and stack 3...
Picked it up this morning (took less than 5 business days), waiting now for the first battery to charge up and reading the manual. Can't wait to give it a try but busy day today so I'll get back here with some first impressions in a day or 3. Oh and I only got ONE free (FC member bonus) screen...
Only made it to page 31 on this thread and ordered one today directly from the company. They're located only about 100 miles away from me :>) Hoping for a speedy (free) delivery.
I think I'm about to spring for a WISPER II. Can you tell me if it, (the "II") has any real improvement in durability/dependability. Also can you give me an idea on bowl/oven size (compared to a DV or a Solo) ?
The Solo is made by Ariser. I PERSONALLY don't care for the Solo because for me the draw/intake is too restrictive. By all means send it in for repair/replacement. That's why you always need a backup ;>)
Fine grind I presume ? Does that first top screen stay clear ? I get the same effect...
Hi Zow and welcome to the FC DV thread. I'm just curious if yours is the newer or the older model (magnetic closure or clasp) ? When they're good they're really good but your bad seems to outway that :>( Straw failure is common moreso in the later model I think. Brushes and batteries I don't...
I prefer the DV over the solo only for the easier draw, I prefer breathing in the vapor rather than having to pull hard like a milkshake or a cigar. To each his own I guess.....
Red light only comes on when/while it's powering up. The main power switch needs to be on (blue screen on) to charge. Also nice that it CAN be used while charging, gotta love that......
Hi all, my first post.
Some history : bought my DV new in Oct. 12. Also own an AR SOLO (wife's favorite), and a AR V-TOWER. Haven't combusted anything this year (my New year"s resolution :>) and have spent the last week reading all 111 posts on this thread. Pretty incredible resource, tons of...
