If I wasn't already an ardent evangelist for DV, I have to say the new website art would be a turn-off for me. I guess the focus now is on the brodude and carefree waif demographic.
I just posted this over on the new glass thread, I'll do so here as well as it's definitely a bubbler and it certainly was cheap. I think I paid $15 (including shipping), and it took less than a week to arrive at my house from China--outstanding! The seller's name was "paladin886".
Yeah, I'm working on it. In the Imgur app, it only offers me one link to use.
EDIT: OK, figured it out. I had to use the website rather than the app to get the bbcode link.
The cap on my M17 clicks so hard that it actually "jumps" about a millimeter off the end of the tip. That, plus the air channels I filled into the tip lip, make this my freest-flowing tip-cap combo. My other caps click in a much more demure manner, and are harder to feel in a loud environment.
I usually have a three heat cycle session, and then another three heat cycle session about an hour later, and then one heat cycle before I dump the ABV tailings.
I do slow, moderate-volume lung pulls; one per heat cycle.
Irish Vaper took the words right from my mouth--try an induction heater just once and you'll understand why $70 for a heat source is completely reasonable. The darned thing is MAGIC. It's the flying carpet of vaping.
I'm a big fan of that lighter. Good fuel capacity, clear tank so I know when to refill, easy flame control, works every time. I got mine directly from Dynavap.
Like you, I use a JarHead at home. IH is outstanding!
For this application, where the flame is outside the air path, I don't think you need to worry about impurities in your butane. Grab a can of whatever you can find and fill up that torch. You'll appreciate the difference over using a standard lighter.
Consider me the opposite end of the spectrum. Even after almost four decades of cannabis enjoyment, 0.1g is plenty for me. If it's a good strain, I can get two sessions out if a single M load. I'm a cheap date.
I drilled a hole in the lid of a stainless travel mug large enough for me to use my bombilla. I got tired of explaining to everyone in my office why I was always carrying a gourd full of dark green sludge. Stealth mate is the best mate.
For me, it all comes down to availability. Back in the black market days, I'd jealously collect and guard reclaim from all my devices like Gollum and his ring--precious! Now, when I can walk to a dispensary a few blocks from my house and buy an eighth of decent flower for $10 (this is what I...
If the pesticide is systemic, you can use all the baking soda, lemon juice, prayer beads and unobtanium in the galaxy and it won't make much difference (aside from ruining your herb). Topical pesticides can be removed, but cured buds are fragile things and you're going to wreck a lot of the...
Just did a Google search... hamster... oh, man, that's funny. Descartes was right--any time you think you've thought of something new, you haven't. Somebody else thought of it before you.
I've started using my Solo upside-down (with the bent stem, obviously), to keep little flakes of herb from dropping into the heating chamber. Looks kind of goofy, but it works quite well. Does anyone else do this, too?
I finally got the opportunity to enjoy my M out in the woods last week. Sitting on a log by a mountain stream, triple torch in one hand and a beer in the other, exposed the only limitation of using direct heat on a Vapcap--I had to set down my beer! Still, it was an outstanding experience...
Since I often gouge my knuckles with my thumbnail when using my 2-piece grinder, I applaud your effort to produce a more ergonomic design.
That being said, though, your website is a complete horror show of poor grammar and fear-mongering disinformation. It destroys your credibility. I guess...
