Nice! I think a lot go for square because when you want to press hash it's easier to do directional flow with a flat front. And the fact that most people post videos pre-pressing way to hard making these super flat pucks with no easy out for the melted resin in the middle. Some of the "rosin"...
in my opinion the future is round plates and bottle tech. You want the plates just over the size of the squished puck, not the retracted size when you release pressure. It's normally a few millimeters difference. This seems to be the easiest way to maximize PSI and escape area for the resin to...
Yes, this. ISO washing pucks rarely gets great results because you've also moved a lot of the waxes and bad stuff to the surface which then washes out quickly. I threw mine away 2 days ago, lol. That's why I didn't even bring it up, better off with coconut oil or chop/vape.
the lipid pneumonia has never been "proven" from consuming this, it was just a warning to be careful of consuming too much wax as a "just in case" the body reacts to it the same way over time. Don't let my nervousness hold you back too much :)
ya darkness from cultivar or cure cannot be pressed lighter no matter how low you press. I have to assume you can make it darker though if you press it hot and long.
Darkness is cause by both cure leangth and heat for any cultivar. I didn't realize you were so new, sorry. So no matter what the cultivars normal color is, if you cure it too long or over heat it during the press, it'll darken. the longer you keep it on heat, the darker it will continue to get...
uh I believe food grade rosin means the decarbed it after on purpose. Those are crazy numbers on that site, and the rosin looks horrible lol.
SO based on that site, it looks like pressing too high is decarbing, I wonder what they are pressing at and for how long. It's all dark because o fit...
that's probably cure decarb though, not fromt he press itself. People have tested rosin many many times and there's never any noticeable amount decarbed. If it was a factor of the process, it would be showing up a lot more for people doing bad tech.
Do they state if it's dewaxed or not? just the mechanics of the closed loop systems often force some level of dewaxing unless you purposely pull down the wax at the top.
And I agree, low temp is the way to go, I was just using the coils as an example. And for the record, my Triple Ti quartz...
because rosin has the most wax of any concentrate by a lot when you look at test results (not counting different hashes or CO2 predistillation of course). Also, when I vape with the dish, there's lots left, but if I use the triple Ti coils, it all gets vaped. SO it's just because you are...
They are dabbing dewaxed product, and it's an accumulation. Where do you think all the stuff is going? Your body has to deal with all the crap besides the THC. Also many people have CHS and don't realize it because it also relieves the symptoms. Just read some of the articles I posted.
I have a...
I believe it can but may not present itself just in the lungs;

And remember, medical users with lung issues probably avoided "smoking" in general.
