Cleaning the metal strip/aluminum top and ensuring good contact with the top aluminum is what fixed my device. There appears to be a channel in the top aluminum for this metal strip. I used a multi meter to test the connectivity from the top aluminum to the positive terminal.
I centered...
I have been using 3mm corundum (ruby) balls for over a month now. (I posted a link in an earlier post.)
It has been running 24/7 during that time.
I've had absolutely no problems. Thick milky rips at 11o'clock. My wife likes that's it's consistent and she doesn't need to fiddle with anything...
If anyone is looking for a case for their TinyMight, the Pelican 1030 works pretty well.
• It's watertight, rubber padded, and reasonably small.
• There is extra room for a couple batteries or some bud (USE BATTERY CAPS).
• The TM doesn't have very much room to rattle around.
I think I've found an undocumented feature to turn off the LED.
If you follow the silent mode procedure 3x (without powering off) it disables the LED on my unit.
I might have accidentally found a setting to increase heat or reset calibration values because my device seems to be working...
Well it seems I'm still getting pretty poor performance. I'm finding myself turning it up to 10 to get visible vapor.
Hopefully the maker gets in touch soon.
I would suggest the maker machine a nub on the aluminum to make better contact with the negative lead ribbon. It seems my device got too warm and expanded so that the negative contact was no longer making good contact with the aluminum top. I was impressed with the simplicity of the device.
If...
Okay - I think I've fixed it!
I took the device completely apart aside from the heater screw labeled 'danger'. I believe there was an alignment issue or some residue affecting the metal ribbon traveling from the heater to the top of the device. I believe this is the negative lead for the...
The glass tube o-ring is nice and air tight. The session before it stopped working correctly it was combusting on the first draw on the lowest temperature.
Thanks for the reply. I do wait for the buzz. The buzz happens earlier than I would expect (based on my previous usage). On temp setting 10 the buzz happens a couple seconds from a cold start - before this would take a little longer.
The screens, heater coil, and O rings all look perfect.
The...
Hi all,
I received my TinyMight and I was extremely impressed. I've been using it for the past week or so with great results, but now the unit isn't functioning properly.
I used the TM last night and it seemed to get way too hot. The herb was combusting at the lowest temperature setting. I...
David at TM sent an email Saturday saying he would cancel the PayPal order.
I had already created a second order with a credit card.
Order status unchanged
I imagine it will go from Pending->Shipped when the device is ready
Hi,
I'm 25-30 years old and I'm a software/hardware engineer.
I recently switched to vaping only when Covid started. I bought a SSV and filled it with rubies. I sold my PAX3 I bought for a music festival, but hardly ever used and turned the funds into a TinyMight. (which I'm patiently waiting...
The draw is definitely better than the drilled quartz. It makes less of a whistling sound as well. I imagine it could take slightly longer to warm up because of the rubies thermal capacity, but I leave mine on 24/7.
Both beads have no taste and work pretty much the same. The rubies are much...
