I think the closest thing to a solo stem I found was the Grav Octotaster. It has a glass screen built in, but it can still let some scooby snacks through.

Yeah, I’ve used that stem without a screen, too and found it to perform similar to you. I even used a course grind but still got little snacks. A basket screen is your best bet.

From a build standpoint, nothing comes to mind…it’s so solid and self contained. From an accessory perspective, since they include the TI stem now, I’d say the addition of a mouthpiece would be tremendous. It’s probably the most valuable aftermarket piece I’ve gotten. Just my 2 cents

I’m going to go out on a limb and say I don’t think anyone here has proof the airpath isn’t in fact isolated. I’ll even go a step farther and say that I think most people on this thread probably believe the manufacturer when they make the claim of isolated airpath. I could very well misreading...

I could be mistaken, but think those are numbers for the cooling unit o-rings. I think OP was asking about the tube o-ring on TM itself that holds the stems.

I gave this a try and I’d have to agree, nice way to hit the TM2. I’m using the HA stem with TM supplied basket screen, loose straw fill half way-ish and hit 4-7. Thanks for the suggestion

I don’t stir, so don’t have same issues, but I know what you mean about the screen. If I use a poker to empty the bowl the screen moved all over. So now I just blow the spent bowl out in the trash…and the screen doesn’t really budge. I’m a big fan of the HA stem and their wood mp. Plenty cool...

It’s like an erector set…just builds in different ways. Love it!

I can honestly say I know exactly how you feel. I’ve worn night guards for years to keep my teeth from grinding. I try to be conscious of how my jaw is placed and I do often find my mouth shape changing during a pull. I think @CaptBongRipper is on to something I do think that it’s less so with...
