Another newbie question re the 19M, is there a foolproof method of seating the CCD screen correctly? Mine is always on an angle, it works fine and doesn't fall out but it slightly annoys me.
Have been floating in the dynaverse for about 2 weeks now after receiving my 19M. Previously, I have had a Mighty for over a year and prior to that combusted for 30 years.
As a newbie vaporist I have enjoyed the Mighty for its ease of use and consistent results. Despite my determination not to...
I'm in the camp that we may be looking at a Crafty replacement, its had its issues in the past
especially with the batteries. If they do go down this path I am confident they will incorporate replaceable batteries - the trade off would be that it may not be as powerful as the current Crafty/Mighty.
If you are considering using concentrate pads for micro-dosing I suggest you try the firefly pads. They are smaller and denser than the S&B ones, you can fit 3 snugly into a capsule.
So when I micro-dose I like to loosely fill 1/2 a cap and place 2 pads (and the lid) on top or 3/4's full and...
WTF! Going through that rigmarole every 5 caps!!! Even Troy doesn't believe in his own hack. He went from "I only use one cooling unit now" to "Oh yeah, this is a fresh unit, the other one has not been cleaned in a month".
As Vapviking suggests a nice warm iso bath once a month does the trick.
Just wondering if anyone is in the position to replicate this micro dosing experiment - it requires firefly concentrate pads.
Goes like this
place 0.04 - 0.05 medium/fine shred in the bottom of a cap
tamp down with the rounded end of the packing tool
place 2 f/fly pads on top, close with lid...
It might not be necessarily to do with using concentrate but with the previously described phenomenon of the vapour condensating as it hits the CU screen and falling onto the cap lid. You might want to consider joining the brother/sisterhood of capsule enthusiasts who eschew the CU screen...
A question for longtime exclusive capsule users - I'm looking at you ChooChoo:). How often (if at all) do you replace and clean underneath the chamber screen?
The consensus on this thread seems to be that this the easiest and quickest way to clean your CU. Some people like to remove the hologram lock to prevent discolouration and I have also noticed in some updated
cleaning videos that they recommend not soaking the o-rings (just wipe them over)...
Well this is a game changer, from what milkybrkid is saying and the fact that the S&B website
does not specifically state that they will only replace the batteries during the 2 yr warranty
period. This could mean I will be enjoying my Mighty for many years to come. Yay!
Just remember that if you are using caps and no CU screen that it is important to wipe out
the inlet of the CU. I do this after every 2nd or 3rd cap. Best to do while the unit is still warm.
I find a micro-fibre cloth wrapped around the end of a small screwdriver works well.
As you were.
Had the Mighty a month now. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I
maybe a little obsessed with my Mighty. When I'm not using it (which
is waaaay to often) I'm looking at it, cleaning it, touching it, reading
about it (mostly here), thinking about it.
Just as ChooChooCharrlie has...
2 weeks in and I'm loving my Mighty, I just cant stop hitting it!
Started to get rimgunk on my caps a few days ago- a bit of a worry, these caps
might be high maintenance after all. Anyone who has read at least 3 pages back would be well
aware of ChooChooCharlie's ongoing campaign to end the...
greetings all! just thought I’d share my thoughts of the Mighty after one week’s ownership. Have been combusting for 30 years, used a vape once about 8 years ago (VapirNO2?) and I remember I preferred to smoke the AVB. Anyways after not thinking about it again I recently came across an article...
