I think our definition of responsible gun owner may be a little different. Having the laws suit your personal wants while ignoring the overall safety of others is irresponsible gun ownership IMO.

I am an big fan of guns. I am also a big fan of little kids not being gunned down in class once or twice a month by a person who should not have had one. Thankfully the train of progress doesn't care who is blocking the way.
