I thought it looked familiar, was just checking the EFS thread the other day. Would love to get one of his new pieces but they're a bit out of my price range. Would definitely be happy picking up a sick looking piece like that for $200, though. Nice find! :)
Perhaps you're calling their old shop number, they apparently moved or are moving atm.
Try emailing customercare@7thfloor.biz, though they didn't reply last week I did get some quick replies after emailing them earlier this week. You just have to keep trying, they'll get back to you eventually...
Noticed a few new female joint options on the AliEx store, not a bad looking cheap inline http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/New-Inline-Perc-GLASS-ASH-CATCHER-with14-4-glass-bowl-Free-shipping/705605_1511977906.html
This one looks like they've just stacked 2 honeycomb discs together, kinda...
I know that 7th floor are apparently moving their workshop but shouldn't they still be replying to emails?
I haven't gotten a reply in over a week after asking about the status of my LSV repair. Starting to think I wont even get my LSV back before christmas at this rate. Really frustrating.
Oh, sweet. Didn't think it'd be that cheap, I'll have to look into that.
That means I can get an Apix piece if I use that service, right? Damn, so many more options now. :)
Nice, man! I was interested in a piece from GBD a while ago but when I contacted him he said he doesn't ship to Australia. Did he recently start shipping here or did you arrange something with him? Would love to get a fritted piece.
Depends where you live, I sent mine off to be repaired a month ago. I was expecting 2 weeks shipping each way but I haven't heard from 7th floor at all in between so I'm not sure if they even received it. Will be pretty annoyed if I don't get it next week. Next vape I buy will have to be from...
Unfortunately I think Kathy Hu understands very little english and is only interested in pumping out as many items as she can. Quantity > Quality over there. :\
I should be receiving my tree + showerhead bubblers by next week. Was hoping to be this week, looking unlikely though. Will report...
Just ordered myself the AliEx showerhead + 7? arm tree bubbler, left a message with the order asking if the pieces could have their percs as close to the bottom as possible, hopefully she knows english well and considers it.
Her reply:
"Hi,We make the new very good products now.
I can show you...
Thanks for the tip but I've already sent my LSV back to 7th floor for repair. If mine ever dies again I'll definitely open it up and try yours + Richy's suggestions. I doubt they'd cover the return twice so I'd take my chances, would rather put the $100 in shipping fees towards a Cloud EVO. :mmmm:
The problem with my cord was more to do with the connection into the LSV/strain relief. It just wasn't secured properly and could be wiggled/pulled out+in with ease. My LSV would not get hot unless the cord was pushed in and secured, I don't know much about electrics or the LSV internals but my...
So while my LSV is out of commission, I've gone back to using my EQ - with a few modifications. ;) (sorry if this has been suggested before)
I bought a cheap 18 male to male and decided to experiment. http://i.imgur.com/PNjEIBd.jpg
Couldn't get a stainless steel screen inside the space...
So it's been about 2 weeks but I finally got a suitable reply today. I sent an email to a higher up 7th floor employee who used to post here, and he has sorted it out for me. He said the incident I referred to where the Aus customer had his shipping paid for was during a period when they had a...
I've been talking to Chris from 7th floor customer care. He has not mentioned anything about a place in Aus that handles repairs. He won't negotiate the shipping and seems to just ignore my questions about other Australian customers having their shipping costs covered.
I sent them an email over...
Pretty disappointed, been in contact with 7th floor and they want me to pay the return shipping also, which is ~$60, so all up it'll cost me close to $100 in shipping fees to get my LSV fixed..
So this HC handheld bubbler arrived today. Here's some pics of it: http://imgur.com/a/kQlVx
There's a very noticeable weld you can almost see in the last pic, that I can feel when I run my fingernails over it. I have to test around water levels and draw speed, have gotten a mouthful of water a...
Man, Aus post is ridiculous. No way am I paying $35 for a 1kg padded postage bag..
You think I could just send it back in the box the LSV came in, just wrap it up so it doesn't shake around? Or do I have to use Aus post's packaging?
I gave my EQ to my mum, she uses it for essential oils and...
Welp my LSV finally bit the dust today. Lasted a good 6-7 months, I knew that there was something wrong on the inside of the unit because I've had to adjust the element/power cord a few times when it's lost power randomly. Now it's completely dead, no amount of fiddling will get my orange glow...
