i used volcano indoors/iolite outdoors for a while... then at some point i tried a vapobowl... and enjoyed the hit... but the lighter fumes sucked... so looking for a nice hit... and after going through a herborizer... i ve settled to a lotus indoors/pnp outdoors for the time being :)

i m not 100% sure that it's the same plastic, cause it was another brand... but! 1 drop of ethanol accidentally spilled on a torch lighter, was enough for it to crack and start spilling butane :P ... im just saying it as a precaution... as i was wondering what the f#( had happened :lol:

if you dont mind combusting with a "vaporizer", then you shouldnt mind carrying around a "smelly bowl" either :p

that 's all it took for me, times 2-3... for a nice crack to appear :p ... these plastics seem to really dislike alcohol! :p

about the battery and their way of handling it... it sounds to me like planned obsolescence

also.. i think the paint gives of painty-smell when heated... for quite some time... is there any smell coming of the plain wooden cap when heated?

are you sure they were wood shavings and not some ABV? ... i blow mine often :lol: :D ...like... every other bowl... i think it has something to do with the sucking speed :lol: ... i think if one sucks fast enough, the air speed mixes up the stuff in the bowl and some of it ends up inside the...

about that battery replacement... i remember someone having replaced their battery early on this thread... and i 'm keeping it in mind for the future, in case my unit's battery life drops... so i want to ask... has anyone had any problems with replacing their battery?

hahaha... true... i havent tried passing the lotus to someone without any experience in torch-powered vapes... as for the worth or not of the speed/style of the session... i'll have to say: most definately!! :) i love holding in a thick cloud :)

hmm.. yes, that is indeed usefull, i agee... but it comes with the price of being unable to vape the bowl almost instantly in a couple of hits.. right? ps. i havent tried a solo yet

If you can handle a little learning curve, and are willing to pass on the exact temp regulation... i would suggest you try the lotus... i 've been very impressed at the option of being able to vape my bowl in a couple of hits, if i choose to. Since i got a lotus, my volcano and herborizer...

vitamin C also helps :) i take a couple of grams before bed, and i notice a big difference on my waking up state

if you mean that you poked a wire into the 6 air holes of the lotus... then perhaps what you combusted was some wood scrapings that got sucked in? :) ps. new member... hi guys :)
