I do mean underpowered. I use the Wand too, if I have to. But the vapor signature of a high power induction heater is incomparable with what you get with the Wand (and too much faffing, imo). That's why Vestratto built the Forge. It's not about "faster", it's about "more energy". I have...

I' ve found, completely counterintuitively, that you can get very terpy hits out of Tornado by heating agressively. Long slow heating doesn't get you that. It's what the Tornado was designed for imo.

I've got a Wand. And I have sworn an oath never again to buy electronics from Vestratto. I bought the Inductor, because it's my conviction that the Tornado likes lots of energy and the Wand can't deliver that. That's why the Forge is can deliver lots of power. I like Inductor's spot heating and...

With the Wand I often draw while heating up. That way I get direct feedback on the vapor. Also, getting the airflow going while heating up does things to the extraction I imagine (N=1) It takes the guesswork out of it, and after a while this kind of finetuning becomes second nature and it's like...

What you're describing is exactly why I bought an Inductor (Forge V2 was being worked on at the time). I can tell you the experience with the Inductor is completely different from using the Wand.

I hear you. I'm in bed a lot and have limited hand strength so for me the Inductor is ideal. It sits next to my bed, the cable is comfortably long and the induction head is light and easy to use. I love the little lift out tray and I have that to hand to carry the Tornado and "stuff". I also...

I would choose tornado, but that's because for me it's easier to use than Anvil, especially now that I have an inductor as an energy capable IH. I know there's is some debate about the validity of the Tornado's design re bio-availability. Personally I notice it's much easier to inhale Tornado's...

I have an anvil thermocore and I have more effect from the Tornado. Also tornado is easier to clean. I never touch the anvil anymore except to strip it for parts I need for the Tornado.

Once I adjusted the dosage: no problem for me, but then, I've always liked a conduction edge

Exactly why I microdose. When I first got the Tornado it slapped a bit too hard on a full bowl

the temp settings are timers. I put some effort into counting the flashes at specific temp settings to dial in the wand.

I've got a wand and an inductor. The wand is the old model, with the little toggle switch. I use the Inductor at home and the Wand when I travel. My process for each is very different: Inductor especially allows for a lot of finessing. The Wand less so. I often preheat, but when I'm in a hotel...

    Vestratto Tornado heating tips

Yep. But everyone's mileage varies of course. Gives a completely different vapor signature (to me) though. Avoid torching into the holes

In the same boat on that front. Metalworking and electronics are 2 separate disciplines for a company.

    Vestratto Tornado heating tips

I don't mean how long the battery lasts but how much energy can the device put into the Tornado. The Inductor is a beast in that respect. I'm looking for very short heat ups: 3 seconds max. I don't want to cook the flower for 20+ seconds. The Forge is a complement to the Tornado, precisely...
