it is usually a few seconds from max temp back to say 370F . I hold down the minus button a max of like 5 seconds . I just counted it and 5 secs puts it @ 375 ... 6 secs is probably @ 370 F ... it will only take you a max of 8 or 9 secs to hold the + heat button to reach max heat @ 430...
