    Phase3 Vaporizers

Thanks bro, I’ll probably just stick with the tried and true. Wired probably performs a little better than wireless anyway in terms of recovery between hits

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Has anybody figured out a wireless heating setup for the ZX? My pid and coil are super old so I’m thinking about a backup/replacement, and wondering if I should try going a different direction (wireless) Sorry if this was already discussed. I read a bit but couldn’t find much

Completed HighlighTED with Ed's TNT housing

this is another great vape that has been sitting around not getting used enough. It's one of the HighlighTED kits from REFC, assembled by myself, installed into a custom wooden (maple?) housing made by Ed's TNT. also including a decent A/C adapter kit I've been using as a power source. It...

Completed Thermal Accumulator (TA3) / Wand combo

Decided to let go of my Thermal Accumulator stuff. It's the TA3, so it had the smooth housing and adjustable airflow. I've only had it since late Spring / early Summer. pretty lightly used and all in great shape. as seen in the pics, this version of the wand fits the TA perfectly, so that it...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

imagine, thinking that @invertedisdead would send out a fake tracking number... must be off your fuckin meds  I just pre-ordered the new bowl. excited to experience the perfect fit as I've been using 3rd party glass adapters so far. ZX is worthy of the investment. couldn't really ask...

Vaping through water. Debris and floaties.

There probably are some constituents of the vapor that get captured by the water that would otherwise end up in your mouth. People talk about how terpenes and cannabinoids aren’t water soluble, yet used filter water somehow smells used. I’m not so worried about those ending up in my lungs as...

    Plug-In Advice

Fuck no  most of the good plug in desktops use hot air to heat the herb and have a wide open draw, and I think you are seriously discounting how much draw speed and load restriction will affect the temp of the air when it hits the herb. All the manufacturers can do is control the heat of...

    Arizer Solo 3

I still detect a faint smell when the unit is hot, that I can only describe as "hot metal" smell. I'm not going to make assumptions about other folks experience, but I think, to my nose, what I'm smelling is the hot oven or perhaps the heating element itself. I'm not getting plastic/chem...

    Arizer Solo 3

I have been getting over a cold recently which led to a discovery. I figured out a while ago that unground nugs are easier on the throat and lungs. Seems fairly obvious that there would be fewer plant particles in the vapor stream if you just stuff a nug in the chamber without grinding. So...

    Arizer Solo 3

you’re right! I actually looked there before but couldn’t find one without the glass screen. I just looked again now and I see it. Thanks! Modding the stem was free for me, but if you don’t have tools then it looks like the PV wpa is a good glass option. I might snag one at some point

    Arizer Solo 3

Good call, but if I’m not mistaken they do not carry a WPA with no glass screen, which is the only way I roll. (dimpled J hook) Couldn’t find a screenless glass wpa anywhere. Sold mine years ago so I had to make my own

    Arizer Solo 3

Highly recommend using a rotary tool (like a dremel) with a needle point diamond burr bit if you want to remove the glass screen. point of the bit goes in the holes in the glass screen and then just take your time. Wear a mask and eye protection

    Heaviest hitting

I feel like at a certain point it’s like a car with so much power that it can never hook up. My lungs are the limiting factor, and I want to be able to vape every day indefinitely so better not to let the tolerance get too high. :myday:

    Arizer Solo 3

my Solo 3 showed up last night. Wasted no time removing the glass screen of the regular WPA with a diamond bit dremel and did multiple burn offs. I did detect a slight odor of assembly lube (?) when I first inspected the bowl, but this did dissipate with the burn offs, and was undetectable...

    Arizer Solo 3

oof, thank you for this feedback. I have a Solo 3 on the way, so I'm hoping you either are a super-smeller, or that you were unlucky enough to receive a flawed unit. thought for sure Arizer would have sorted the air/vapor path issues by now, after like 10+ years on the market and multiple...

Completed Lotus (sold), Vapman (sold), Piro (sold), Elev8R/coil/PID - $50

Realized I may be hoarding vapes a bit. No need for that. Hoping to send these to folks who will appreciate them Lotus - SOLD. Thanks Vapman Classic - SOLD. Thanks Piro by Lamart - SOLD. Thanks Elev8r setup - not sure if this heater is boro or quartz but it is in excellent condition...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

Sorry, but you’re doing it wrong. Thing is capable of massive, fairly devastating hits. Keep at it. Try torching a little lower on the heater as opposed to the tip. I don’t use the torch anymore with my TA3 but it definitely works as a heavy

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

I also feel like it is much more of a hybrid experience than a pure convection device such as the MiniVAP or ZX. (mV can also be a hybrid if you direct load, but that’s not how I use it) Metal bowl gets too hot to touch, flavor changes noticeably, and the effects are subtly different. To some...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

I hear you on the only the dirty/oily balls tip. That is a hazard of inverted heating. I’ll try to mitigate by tamping, hopefully won’t have to clean me balls for a while

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

several sessions in with the wand, I don't think I'll be torching much anymore. I was under the impression that the wand was maybe somewhat underpowered for this application? mine certainly isn't. I started at 800*F and it charred the load somewhat fierce (intake holes wide open). I've...
