Well, it isn't. Because there are only 4 over and 3 under on one, and 3 over and 2 under on the other. Reading 2 and 1.6 respectively, neither of which fires, neither of which has protruding wire. I think this is simply the wrong size wire. Theres literally know way you're getting 1.5ohms...

There are is no protruding at all And this 28g kanthal a1 is basically fucking impossible to get below 2 ohms with more than 3 over. That was a waste of $5...

I rebuilt another kiss cartridge and its not firing, just blinking 3 times then going off. Resistance measures 1.4ohm I did notice that if i don't screw it in all the way, it fires. what gives

being able to set your voltage helps significantly

I'm fairly sure I somehow messed up and held it wrong when i did that. The leads together read 0.2. i later measured the same coil and got closer to 2 after. I re-rebuilt it with 4 over 3 under however, and got 1.3 and it hits well =]

So is my resistance too low? ideally id like to be able to rebuild all my old 3.7v carts for my friends to throw on their omicrons and ophos and stuff :X

3.7v i feel like this is only like .2 away from what it was stock though. maybe im just remembering wrong

Came home from work to find the core as well as my kidneypuncher order waiting on me. joy! edit: rebuilt my 3.7v kiss and now im just getting a blinking light when i hit the button. reading about 1.1ohms did i do it wrong :(

How do you go about loading your wick? Do you melt your oil and let it drip into it? or do you dry run it to warm it? i feel like the latter will lead to more residue and worse flavor/faster cart death

Typically I dry run my coil to warm everything up then melt a dab into the wick and vape from there. So I suppose that'd be similarly to you

I am. should i use the 60 gauge? I just noticed his was a 7.4 and which insulators are the correct ones?

@DieHard your tutorial says you ended up with a resistance of 3.8ohm but @215z said you can rebuild to 0.8 would that be due to the 60 gauge vs the 80 gauge? is there a preferred one for safety/longevity? ive never ventured into rebuildables/ecigs prior to now

yeah, i meant the kiss inside my okeanos is getting all gross and didnt he say we were like 45 days out or so a few days ago? if i order now, it wont ship til monday, wont get here til thursday at the earliest so thats only like 37 days i dont wanna buy a cart just for a month-ish :X i cheap
