so I tried to buy the fenix today, I called my store 8 days ago and they said it would be in on friday or monday. Now I went there today on saturday and they said they had to ship back the package because it was damaged. But for some reason no one ordered a new one.

It bugs me what might be wrong with the solo. It fell out of the pocket with a full battery. I used the battery for some hours until it went empty, then when I wanted to charge it, the green light doesn't flash. But hey, I still could use the vape from full to empty battery, so it seems like...

Soo, my solo flew out of the pocket while biking again and now I can't charge it anymore. Gonna swap the batteries to find out if it might work with the old one.

That you get turned off by the reddit thread is sad, since the Solo is a vape that has been endurance tested for years by all of us. When Carol King tells you the Solo fell down and still works, you can take it serious. I dropped mine 20 times and the only thing that's not working anymore is...

yeah we will see how long the new one runs. Performance is definitely up. Nowadays I wonder when I see the charge light going on, not a regular thing anymore. Kept the old battery, so I might be able to switch back anytime.

got mine from ebay. It really is not that inaccessible as one might think. Swapping batteries is super easy too. can be done in 2 minutes.

I get that error when my portable charger has not enough energy left to fill up the solo. Could be broken battery or cable. Not denying that it could be something on the board too, but those are the first things that come to mind.

I get one for 90€ if I just google. Gotta be worth a try. Cost as much as 6 PVHES stems for my solo or one battery swap for the mighty :D
