I cut it so the 1st set of vent holes show on the top side of Air Never overheat even with back to back to back sessions Like the holes but I thought it would tear easier. I like the little holes thiugh now I have to order another skin and go to Michaels craft store :peace:

You can use the screen like a cup also Put dome side down Dome up does cut the stem capacity in half No stirring needed at all Dome down you have 90% + of stem Edit to add Main thing is to have even a slight dome in screen so it doesn't sit flat in stem which helps keep screens from gunking up...

Yes the Air and Solo use the same stems If you do get an Air get an extra battery, 2 Air batteries will get you about the same run time as the Solo There's an ebay seller that sells 1/2 domed screen There may be a link in the Best of Solo thread Here's a link I found...

You could also use the Arizer air stem with the black tip They're 14 mm in size. And $9.99 from puffitup

Carefull if you do The top of the Air isn't like the top on the Solo. You may strip the threads on it.

You don't need them but if you use a flat screen they clog quicker than a domed one You can make a domed one use a 5/8 screen and shape it around a sharpie or sinilar trim corners. Dome side up like a hat will cut stem to about half no stirring needed. Dome side down like a cup works well too
