Not personally but I would think it would work great if you placed some herb on the screen and the hash above it. I Just wouldnt use anything full melt I couldnt see good things from gunk gettin under that screen.

Also try "winterizing" helps remove the rest of that nasty tane and also gets those residue spots outa there! Maybe a cheaper route until you have a vac? Although even with a vac i still rec winterizing!

That would be cool if the threaded parts are back in stock? As i was told multiple times the threaded base is not replaceable at this point in time.

Tubes are gone Zeki traded out one of my flared out ones about 2 months ago with an ava he had laying at home....... Same with the threads i have one sitting at home that got crossthreaded that is a gonner :(

I would say the amount of starch/sugar is very very minimal if there at all. Do an evap test on it i find no residue or stickiness from the evapped everclear
