There is definitely a serial number there. I can see a couple of the digits. There's a 3 at the end. Show a picture of the screw in the back. That has been a dead giveaway so far. Edit: From what I see, it looks legit.

The Sage 2 is a great knife. It's my go to for vacations. It's a thin design and the deep pocket wire clip is very unobtrusive. I'm a big fan of Spyderco's full flat grind. I highly recommend it.

How do you feel about Spyderco? I'm a huge fan of the Gayle Bradley, the Paramilitary 2, and the ZDP-189 FRN Stretch (cheaper option). The Zero Tolerance 0801 is supposed to be a really great knife. It's a bit more than $150 new, but can be found on the forums for around that.

And let me tell you something... The Dabbler is pretty fuckin sweet. Sooo easy to load and use. Not to mention that it's classy. It's so classy that I usually use it with my pinky raised.

I've handled the 0350, but never owned or used one. It's a stout design, a hand filler with a wide blade. I know a lot of people love them. I have the 0300 big brother so I never ended up with an 0350. I know they recently released a ZDP-189 model. Awesome steel.
