Depending on your type of hash things might just get a little sticky, it would be recommended to keep it as horizontal as possible if using direct draw. Or preferably upside down into either a j-hook or other glass so it won't drip into the unit.

Try more water in there! Maybe closer to the top of the can, looks like you're not getting the "recycling" action since there's not enough water to force the loop.
