I don't want to speak for anyone that actually owns a station, but as I understand it the station preserves the Vapman ritual of 'heat, beat, heat, beat, heat, inhale'. So you'd take it off the station for your water needs if I'm understanding things correctly.

It's odd - it always seems like the log vape manufacturers are much more chill than people working in plastics and metals. I wonder if it's because they're working with wood or if they gravitate towards wood because they're already like that. This is a good thing, in case my tone is unclear! :)

Agreed - maybe it's because my first vaporizer was the vriptech heat gun rig, my log vapes have always filled more of a 'one hitter dry stem' role. I use them when I want to sip at flavor instead of massive hits. They all get me about the same place, but the trip there can be wildly different.

I've never tried an SSV (sorry, i just haven't ever seen one in real life) but I'm very very very very happy with my Evo for the big ol' hits. You might also want to check out the vriptech heat wand and their bowl/adapter - that thing hits like a truck and tastes great too.
