My buds can be kept for 2 or more years before using. I dry and burp/cure to 62% (in a 21ltr CVault) then I vac seal the bud with Boveda for long-term storage in quart mason jars. I do this for insurance in case the mason jar loses its seal...cheap insurance for each 3 oz per quart jar. I have...
Thanks for the heads up @RustyOldNail, I believe the 8g Boveda pack may be the culprit, the corners cover the silicone gasket if not folded just right, I swapped for 4g Boveda packs so, hopefully, this will not happen (although I can see a pressure mark on the one pictured above so may need 2x...
Having access to a few different strains made me look into some small containers for ground herb (bulk storage is qurt mason jars) for easy access/daily use and I found the CVault Small Twist (7-14g capacity).
They also make an Extra-Small (XSmall) but no stock where I go mine.
Done at the same place VW tune their cars.
I did look up where their certificate was gained about 4 or 5 years ago (pasted in the Mighty thread somewhere from memory) and it looked lower-tech than my shed (it looked Russian, not German).:2c:
I like the idea of having Bluetooth as well as a...
This stuff is a Sativa dominant 22%THC...La Sage,(AU$13.50/gm). Nice flavours with this stuff, not too peppery,
Reminds me of Side Show Bob's haircut.:)
The heater is Kanthal wire, I get another whispy toke straight after I power off but that is only when I use the capsules in ON-Demand mode as the load is usually well spent when I use session mode.
Both are/were smokers (I think ex-smokers like the Mighty 'tickle' in the throat).:2c:
The only vape I have ever sold was a Mighty. It was the third one I owned, all replaced under warranty due to the LCD screen dying and my friend (that I warned of the screen faults) said he can only read it...
The BCG being larger helps with the mechanical advantage wins for ease of grinding...I just had steroid shots in my wrists to tide me over until I get my Carpal Tunnel operated on so I get the 'electric fence shock' problems too well.
Thanks for the pics @Bologna , I could not see them as I have no reddit account...looks pretty good apart from the thin, flat mouthpiece.:2c:
My fav type of mouthpiece (today:)) is the bulbous type like found on the TAG inverted showerhead...
I have been using my Roffu while out and about and am finding the capsules combined with the steel oven make On-Demand mode sing. I simply leave the temp set to Max and have a quick puff while the unit heats then a longer draw and let the button off just before the puff ends. I can usually do...
What is the shelf life/ use by date like on this Piece Water as I am thinking of getting some for using in my Peak Pro/Pockety/DAAB/DabLamp etc and was thinking of getting a 6 pack to save with bulk pricing and freight but don't want it going 'off' before I need to use it.
I will stick to...
I simply wipe the blade clean on the edge of the concentrate container while hot and pick it up once semi-solid when taking the next dab...no waste.
I own the Puffco Hot knife but rarely use it as the cheap China blades feel way more robust.
I got these (less than 15 bucks a pair), pick the size...
Medical dispensary supplied Alfie GT Haze, 22% THC Sativa dominant type of effects apparently...tastes like pepper to me, (worked out to US$300/oz or AU$16.5/gm),
I have been testing out my new vs old unit with On-Demand vs Session modes and found the only real difference is the newer unit gets to temp a bit more quickly but the ABV ends up very similar in both modes/units.
All were vaped in capsules with the OEM WPA with the glass directly above the oven...
