You got it. Note the the second method works for @phattpiggie 's FETs and the indicator LED did not work. The first method lights the LED as well as turns on the switch. :science:

Good to know. I had a batch of 50 that I thought were all bad. Maybe your wiring method will make them work. :science: Once I deplete my stock of these FET switches, I'm moving away from the pre-made switches to a single FET and resistor. Have already tested and works just as well and don't...

Your diagrams are all in-correct I'm afraid. The tach switch goes between the V+ (positive) and the trigger, not the ground. Or you'll just be shorting out the switch. Not sure what @phattpiggie was thinking. Maybe he was doing his multi puff technique before he posted... BTW, the large...

To answer the question of the wooden dowelling used. I was getting it from the hardware store but found it in the $Dollar store in the craft area. 1/4" is the right size. As noted, it gets scorched as time goes on. This process is actually hardening the wood as did our ancestors to harden their...

Looking good! Couple pics that might help. I use a wooden spacer with shrink tubing to keep the switch from melting.

By default, all have had the battery installed. Having a batteryless option is do to that exporting/importing batteries have many regulations. If problems do arise, then the batteryless option may come more into play. For now though, have not had any problems. Knock on wood! :uhoh:

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

Generally, I found the chargers fit quite tight. Almost too tight and find you need to press hard to get the plug in initially. It does work in, although, you don't need to push in completely anyway. Maybe it has some movement from side to side when not all the way in..? If it is problematic...

Not sure how detailed you need. It would likely benefit you to go through the picture album by clicking one of my pictures and go through them. You will find some good shots like the one below that should guide you through how to wire it. You do need some basic understanding of electronics to...

I'll do one better. Here is a dis-assembly video to see the simplicity of this puppy. Comes with everything you need but the VC and goodies to put in it.

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

OK guys. Good news! The 1st batch PSMinis are complete and I've reached out to everyone on that list. If I missed anyone, let me know. Just a couple notes for the new owners. The battery indicator as well as charge port are now on the output of the on/off switch. Meaning it needs to be in the on...

Yes they do. You should not have it on unless your using it. Sitting with no load, it still draws close to 2 amps. Sitting idle, it will slowly heat until the enamel starts to burn off which only takes about 2-3 minutes to start to smoke. This is why you need an insertion switch of sorts.

Vaping Juice from Shatter Made Easy

It's one of those, one thing led to another, and ended up with a few grams of it. Fun at first but hard to vape. I don't like the coughing it brings on. This seems to do the trick and makes it very enjoyable. :freak: Price-wise, $3 for the syringe, $18 for 8 ozs of PEG. Good for a long time...

Vaping Juice from Shatter Made Easy

Thanks. You are correct. I had gotten some terminology mixed up. Going to edit title. I think that stuff in the link you gave is likely mostly made from PEG, although just guessing, as using for same idea basically. However, it does make this shatter I have much more palatable. I found vape pens...

Vaping Juice from Shatter Made Easy

Hey guys. I have tried many devices to vape shatter and only end up coughing up a headache. Nails, coils, ceramic discs and both ceramic and steel hot plates. I really liked the stuff you can get in vape pens which I researched some to find the main ingredient that makes it work. Polyethylene...

You will need to solder or have someone solder to fix it. The same connections are on the face side as well. You will need to scratch off some of the protective coating off beside the hole the wires came out of. Clear the coating to make a 1mm size solder pad on each side of the hole. As you...
