i haven't heard of the Budvac storage container before but if you're looking into long term and quality storage of your bud then i recommend the CVault. i highly recommend a log vaporizer. i have a UD myself and my interests for any other vaporizer have completely stopped after discovering logs. very efficient and extracts all the goodies that i want.

how long can the silicon stems be safely left on a UD?
