Thanks paka. I've never left my batteries in longer than the necessary charge time before. I figured I was just overreacting but at the same time didn't want to come back to a large smoldering pile of wood from what used to be my house haha.

i wouldn't really say that this piece is light. there was a pretty tight seal between the heat port and silicone that caused the lift but i can definitely see where you're coming from. edit: typo
